Massage Envy launches 2010 Massage for the Cure

Supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 19 Puget Sound area Massage Envy locations, including the Everett Mall Massage Envy center located at 1402 E. Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA 98208, will host Massage for the Cure on September 14 in the fight against breast cancer. As part of the one day nationwide event, Massage Envy centers will offer $49 one-hour therapeutic massage sessions–with $15 from each massage donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additional monetary donations will also be accepted September 14. Local proceeds from Massage for the Cure support breast cancer education, screening and treatment initiatives in the Puget Sound area. Read more »

Community Transit Helps VOA Drive Away Hunger

Green-Grey Game Fundraiser for Lynnwood Fire Victims

The Everett Silvertips and the American Red Cross of Snohomish County will be teaming up at this Sunday’s Green-Grey game to raise money for the families and individuals displaced by the July 9 fire at the Lynnview Apartments and other fires in Snohomish County. While the Green-Grey game has always been free of charge, this year fans are kindly asked to donate $5 to representatives of the American Red Cross, who will be on hand near the entrance at Sunday’s game, which begins at 12:30 pm. Putting Children first while honoring Fathers and Mothers

Deaconess Children’s Services will host their 6th Annual Father and Mother of the Year Awards ceremony complete with beautiful desserts, a wine auction, a raffle with big ticket items including a 50” plasma TV, a trademark fashion show for moms and  inspirational speakers for the fathers, such as Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon and so much more.
