If you’re like me, it been a loooooooonnngg hot summer wearing your hockey sweater, and waiting for hockey season to arrive. Well..it’s almost here. I spent all summer reliving the memories of the mighty Penguins winning the Stanley Cup, against the tough-to-beat Red Wings.

If you’re a fan of the NHL, well, the NHL is coming to Everett, for one game only. The Great One, (you know) Wayne Gretsky is bringing his team the Phoenix Coyotes to Comcast Arena on September 22 vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. Former Silvertip Peter Mueller will be on the ice that night for Pheonix. So Tips fans, bring your cowbells and cheer on Mueller (you remember him right). This is the first NHL game ever played in Everett.

And Silvetip fans, don’t forget, September 4 is the first Silvertips pre-season game in Everett. Lincoln will be there. Don’t miss it. Bring your cowbell.
