On Monday Dec 14, Wintertide activities start at 5 p.m. and A Christmas Story at 7 p.m.
Presented by the City of Everett, Wintertide is an old time village festival of goodwill and celebration at the Everett Performing Arts Center. Gather around the giant glowing tree, joining the carolers in song. Warm up next to the crackling bonfire, depending on the county burn ban. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa to keep the chill away. Kids’ activities include fun holiday craft projects, a model railroad, and a very special visit from Santa Claus at 5:30 p.m. The free holiday movie at 7:00 p.m. is A Christmas Story (rated G, 94 minutes). The event happens at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Avenue.
