Balefire, the downtown Everett establishment specializing in fine fermentables will be hosting a brewers night on Thursday December 17 at 7:00 p.m. The featured brewery is Nikansi Brewing from Eugene. The brewer from Nikansi will be driving up from Oregon to introduce Everett beer drinkers to their high quality Northwest style beers. The Eugene brewery has regional access to some of the highest quality brewing ingredients in the world, including pure cascade mountain water from the McKenzie River, Eugene’s sole municipal water source, and hops from the Pacific Northwest. Ninkasi’s focus is on flavorful, balanced beers and are solely a production brewery, which allows them to fully devote resources to creating the best beer possible.

Fans of heavy metal will appreciate some of the beer titles on the labels, including “Maiden the Shade” written in the Iron Maiden font and “Sleigh’R”, a dark double alt for the holidays.
